Director's Reserve 2021

The wine has an intense, rich garnet colour. Beautiful intense aromas of cassis, blackberries and blueberries are evident at first. There are underlying notes of cedar, tobacco leaf and a hint of violets on the nose.

The palate is full and rich with heady flavours of cloves and vanilla spice, ripe black, blue and bramble fruit notes. The mid-palate is rich and brooding with a great silky texture, leading to firm ripe structured tannins, a long finish, and a beautiful acidity to balance the ripe richness of the wine.

Best drinking 2028 to 2035.

750ml · A masterful Bordeaux-style blend of 68% Cabernet Sauvignon, 16% Merlot, 11% Cabernet Franc, 5% Petit Verdot.
