It turns out that we are not the only ones who think that the new Merlot Reserve 2023 Magnum is absolutely delicious!
Earlier this year the British Master of Wine, Tim Atkin, visited The High Road to taste new vintages, including our first ever 100% Merlot.
Tim wrote the following in his South African report 2025:
"This is a very stylish new release from The High Road, made by red wine guru, Miles Mossop. Deftly aged in 70% new wood, it's all about texture, poise and palate weight, with basil and tarragon aromas, flavours of blood orange and red berries and lots of underlying energy and acidity." - 94 Points.
